Religious Denomination:

St Joseph’s School is a Catholic school and has served the community since 1925. Children from other faiths are welcome to enrol.
 

School Structure:
The Early Years comprises Reception, Year 1 and 2. The Primary Years are Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 the Middle Years are Years 7, 8 and 9.


Student Numbers:
St Joseph’s School currently has 440 children from Reception – Year 7.


Class Sizes:
We realise that class size is an important issue for parents. The maximum number of children in Reception and year 1 classes is 25 and 29 in classes from Years 2-9.


Staff:
We have 47 committed staff working at St Joseph's, including 29 teachers.


Facilities:
St Joseph’s School has a state of the art Performing Arts Centre, fully equipped Resource Centre and Library, well equipped classrooms all with Interactive Panels, ICT Room, Specialist Teaching areas, Canteen, extensive oval and play spaces with two Basketball courts and community garden.


Student Life:
Students participate in a range of experiences; sporting teams and carnivals, instrumental lessons, school choir, performing arts, Chinese studies, buddy classes, liturgies and masses, assemblies, school garden, sustainability and Social Justice.
