eNews Term 4, Week 9, 2023
Dear parents, carers, teachers, and students,
As we approach the season of Christmas and school holidays, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for each and every one of you. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, a time of hope, peace, love, and new beginnings. These values are core to our Catholic education and are evident in everything we do at St Joseph’s School.
- Hope: We see hope in the bright eyes of our students as they learn and grow. We see it in the resilience of our families and the generosity of our staff. I hope you have a safe and restful holiday break.
- Peace: We experience peace in the quiet moments of prayer and reflection. We see it in the respectful interactions between students and the supportive presence of our teachers. Peace be with you all.
- Love: We share love through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to others. We see it in the strong relationships built within our classrooms and throughout our school community. Love thy neighbour and bring gifts to those less fortunate.
- New Beginnings: We embrace new beginnings with each new school year and with each new challenge we overcome. We see it in the creativity and innovation of our students and the dedication of our staff. I look forward to the new beginning of 2024 with you all.
May the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts with joy, peace, and love. May you find strength and comfort in your own faith and beliefs, and may the new year bring you blessings and happiness.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Mrs Ros Oates
Principal
